DR. JASON MCGILLIVRAY

Jason grew up on a cow/calf ranch in Southern Saskatchewan. He graduated from Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and proceeded to work in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan in a mixed animal practice, providing veterinary services for cattle and horses. In 1997, Dr. McGillivray moved to Kamloops to work at the Kamloops Veterinary Clinic. He bought into the practice in 1999 and helped found the clinic, now known as Kamloops Large Animal Veterinary Clinic. He has worked exclusively with cattle and horses since then, with a special interest in cow/calf herd health and production medicine. Jason is directly involved in the cattle industry with a  herd of registered Black Angus cows and he is a member of the B.C. Cattlemen’s Association. Jason’s family also has a small flock of Dorset cross sheep. Jason and his wife Susan along with their three children have been actively involved in the local 4-H program.
