DR.WILLOW HOLMES

Dr. Holmes grew up outside of Cochrane, Alberta on her family’s ranch, where she spent most of her time moving cattle, breaking young horses and farming. Growing up on a ranch, Dr. Holmes’ interest in doctoring animals big and small was sparked at a young age. She first enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program at Mount Royal University, completing her veterinary pre-requisite courses in 2 years and then graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2018. She completed her internship at Moore Equine Veterinary Centre and then started here at the clinic in May 2019. Willow’s main focus and interests are equine lameness and surgery, cow/calf herd health, and emergency/critical care. In her free time, Dr. Holmes enjoys spending time on her family ranch, hiking, and exploring the outdoors with her dog Mabel.
