DR. Kerry Dyson
Dr. Dyson was born in the UK but immigrated to Canada as a child, before spending most of her early teen years riding reining horses in Princeton, BC. She completed her bachelor’s degree in biology at UBC Okanagan in Kelowna before making the leap to New Zealand to begin her Veterinary degree. While in New Zealand, she enjoyed all the natural adventures the country had to offer, including hiking and river rafting. During vet school, Dr. Dyson found work in multiple dairies, and on beef, sheep and venison/velvet farms. Despite her love for the country, once graduated she returned to Canada and completed a 16 month rotating internship at Moore Equine in Calgary, AB. There, she gained experience in surgery, internal medicine, neonatology, sports medicine, and reproductive management. Dr. Dyson lives in Kamloops with her husband, border collie Flash, and two cats, and is eager to provide veterinary care to KLAVC’s equine clients!
